Weed Control & Fertilization
Treatments to control weeds and feed your turf, by a licensed pro.
Weed control and fertilization are scheduled treatments that build a thicker lawn and keep crabgrass, dandelions, and broadleaf weeds in check. In Missouri, applying these products commercially requires a state pesticide applicator license.
What's included
- Pre-emergent in early spring
- Broadleaf post-emergent as needed
- Balanced fertilization through the season
- Notes after each visit
When you need it
First application is typically February–March (pre-emergent), with follow-ups every 6–8 weeks through the growing season. Skipping the spring pre-emergent is the most common reason for a crabgrass-heavy summer lawn.
Typical season: February – October
Verification required
Pros offering this service must hold a current Missouri pesticide applicator license. PriMow only routes weed control and fertilization leads to providers who have submitted that verification.
